The auto care experts at any of Madison Auto Care's seven NAPA service centers will make sure the oil and other vital fluids in your car are clean and at the proper levels.
Today (Oct. 4) is National Walk/Bike to School Day. The idea is to raise awareness of the need for safe walking and to help kids get more exercise and bring communities together. It's just one of many October events (think Oktoberfest and, of course, Halloween). October is also known for another event, the month-long Fall Car Care Month.
The idea behind Fall Car Care Month is to remember to get that routine maintenance and Madison auto care done before winter sets in: routine maintenance like checking all fluids, including engine oil, power steering, brake and transmission as well as windshield washer solvent and antifreeze/coolant.
“Buying a new car today comes with a hefty price tag when you add up the down payment, monthly car payments and higher insurance rates. Neglecting its care can mean even higher costs down the line in the form of more extensive repairs and lost resale value,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “By following a proactive auto care plan, the typical car should deliver at least 200,000 miles of safe, dependable, efficient and enjoyable performance.”
The Madison auto care pros at any of Madison Auto Care's seven convenient locations will be able to help you with that: Clausen Auto, Handel Auto, Genin’s Auto, Capitol Tire, Odana Tire, Hansen’s Auto, or Aeschbach Auto. The certified Madison auto care and auto repair technicians will have your car ready for the bad weather ahead.
