The brake care technicians at one of Madison Auto Care's seven NAPA service centers will repair those mushy brakes.
We may be headed into autumn with its cooler temperatures but for now, we’re still dealing with blistering temperatures. And those temperatures are causing car troubles across the U.S.
“As the temperatures get hotter, mechanics say car issues have become more frequent,” foxnews.com says.
Most problems seem to be centering on tires and batteries, but issues with the engine and auto air conditioner are also cropping up. So are brake glitches.
In some areas, auto care technicians are seeing a lot of brake fade. Jalopnik.com explains, “Brake fluids inside the cylinder under the hood of the car can absorb moisture, with the heat under the hood causing that moisture to expand within the fluid. When that happens, stepping on the brake pedal can feel ‘mushy,’ with the vehicle owner needing to take the car in for maintenance.”
Jalopnik.com says drivers should be aware of the possibility and keep an eye on their brakes.
If their brakes have any problem, they should seek help from the tire care technicians at any of Madison Auto Care's seven Napa service centers - CLAUSEN AUTO, HANDEL AUTO, GENIN’S AUTO, CAPITOL TIRE, ODANA TIRE, HANSEN’S AUTO, OR AESCHBACH AUTO.
